ENGLISH PLEASURE:  Open to all horses/ponies and riders in English tack. ADULT BEGINNER EQUITATION: Open to riders in first or second year of showing  within the last 10 years. CALIFORNIA WARMUP: One warmup trip per horse/rider combination.  Will run simultaneously with jumping classes.  Fence height determined by class offerings.  This class not judged. MODIFIED ADULT HUNTER EQUITATION: Open to all horses/ponies and riders. BABY GREEN HUNTER:  Open to all horses or ponies in their first year of showing over fences.  Riders must be over 21.    2’ HUNTER:  Open to all horses or ponies.  No restrictions on riders.  ADULT EQUITATION:  Judged on hands, seat, guidance and control of mount. Open to all horses/ponies and riders. Includes one jumping round and one hack class where a minimum of 25% of riders will return for the hack. 2’6” HUNTER: Open to all horses and ponies ridden by adults. Fences 2’6. ADULT LEADLINE:  Open to all horses and riders, English or Western.  Proper attire NOT required, but proper headgear necessary!  Spouses, Parents, etc.  encouraged

We welcome all competitors from local stables, including our Red Gate Farm students!  Our facility boasts excellent footing, great judges, many new jumps, indoor warmup arena, and spectator seating.  Our staff is friendly and helpful.  Come and join us!

Independent judges determine the placings of the riders.  Ribbons are awarded to the top 6 riders in each class.  Champion and Reserve Champion will be awarded in each division with 3 or more entries. 

Trailer parking is available in our field with easy access to the ring and facilities.  Picnic tables under shaded pavillion and bathrooms are available, as well as water for your horses.

Quite a nice selection of food and drink is available at our snack bar, including coffee and doughnuts in the morning, and hot dogs, chips, candy, fruit, slushie drinks, fresh-popped popcorn, and MORE for lunch.

We encourage all beginners,  first-time competitors, and "rusty" riders to begin showing at Red Gate Farm.  We want everyone to have a pleasant, safe, and fun experience.   Good luck to all!!
