Meet Red Gate's wonderful horses and ponies



Tuppence "Two Pence" Welsh pony cross 12 hands Age 9 Tuppence has excellent training and manners. A fancy show pony, she won Champion and Reserve every time out with a junior rider in equitation & hunter classes. She has been popular in camp with all levels now. She can jump really high for her size. She is SOOOO fancy and cute with her blue eyes. She's been with us for 2 years.	Abby "Phat 'N Appy" Pony of the Americas 12.2 hands Age 20+ Little and speedy. She's very sweet and gentle, and loves children. She has shown in local equitation shows and on judged pleasure trail rides. Abby's been with us for 3 years.	Bon Bon "Bonkers" Welsh-X Pony 12.2 hand Age 20+ Bon Bon has taught many children to ride. She is quiet and honest to the jumps and loves lessons. Great for the first lesson, first canter, and first jump course! Bon Bon has been with us for 4 years.


Haley "Haley's Comet" Connemara/Welsh 13.0 hands Age 14 Haley is an adorable black pony. She is fun to ride, understands beginners well, and can even do cross country jumping quietly for our more experienced riders. Haley has been with us for 1 year.	Sassy Welsh pony 13.2 hands Age 20+ On vacation for a few months.....Sassy is a cute welsh pony that has taught many children to ride! She is used in lessons and camps for all abilities. Popular with many students.	CiCi Halflinger 14 hands Age 20+ CiCi is adorable! She loves treats, has a prancy trot, and loves being fussed over. She has very nice gaits and can jump too! Try her out and make a new friend. Cici's been with us for 2 years.


Knight "Prince Of Knight" Morgan 14.2 hands Age 21 Knight is a fun and popular pony. Great on the flat and for jumping too. He was formerly shown and evented. He's been a favorite here now for 3 years.	Hershey "Wish for a Kiss" Quarter Pony 14.2 hands Age 16 Hershey has English and Western training. Hershey is very sweet and willing. Suitable for all levels, he tries hard to please. Hershey's been bringing smiles to kids' faces for 3 years now!	Levi "Blue Denim Trip" Quarter Horse 15 hands Age 9 NEW!! Levi has foxhunted for 2 seasons and has been to several horse shows. He is an eager jumper and knows all the Parelli games! Intermediate/Advanced riders.

He has a nice snaffle mouth with excellent brakes. He jumps with cute form over fences and gets his leads. Linus has been with us for 1 year now.	Prince "Prince Charming" Percheron/Quarter Horse 15.3 hands Age 13 Popular school horse for all levels, comfy as a couch. He's a former foxhunter. Prince has been here for 4 years.	Genie Thoroughbred/X 15.3 hands Age 20 Former Hunter show horse. Sweet, talented. Auto everything, but not for beginners.

Cricket "Perpetually Jackie" Thoroughbred/Quarter Horse 15.2 hands Age 13 She's back! Forward and athletic. Former Virginia Quarter Horse State Champion. Shown in All-Around (English and Western) and Showmanship. Cricket has been here for 3 years.	Twilight Paint 15.2 hands Age 8 Twilight is easy for all abilities to ride. He is becoming a talented jumper too!	Tobey "King Bar Leo" Quarter Horse/Paint 15.3 hands Age 10 Tobey is a fun horse that likes kids. His blue eye is striking. Nice on the flat, and now an experienced jumper too. Tobey has been with us for 3 years.


Elana Hanoverian 16 hands Age 20 We just LOVE Elana! She is quiet, obedient, and well-trained in dressage and jumping. What a lovely lady! And so elegant.......	Flash "Jumping Jack Flash" Tb/X 15.3 hands Age 6 Our new horse is still a little young, but shows great promise to be an eventer or hunter. Currently available only for Intermediate and Advanced lessons. He's a sweetie!	Trooper "Pull Up My Socks" Quarter Horse 16.2 hands Age 20 Trooper has been with us at Red Gate Farm for 3 years. He is a lovely horse, well-schooled on the flat, honest over fences, and talented in cross country as well. Steady and quiet. He formerly fox hunted.

K'Nobi Dutch Warmblood/Tb 16.2 hands Age 16 K'Nobi is well trained and easy to ride. He is a bit lazy, and an excellent jumper for those experienced riders! K'nobi has been with us for 1 year.	Bourbon "Kentucky Bourbon" Holsteiner/TbX 16.3+ hands Age 12 Bourbon is a BIG boy! He's an eventer / jumper that has a LOT of training in dressage and jumping. Bourbon has been with us for 1 year.	Ferdinand "Cadillac Romance" Hanoverian 17.1 hands Age 8 Ferdinand is a wonderful large hunter. He is quiet and safe. A true gentle giant at over 17 hands!


Jack "TMF Darkstar" Quarter Horse 16 hands Age 11 He's back! Comfortable gaits, western and english. Big, but gentle, he loves kids and adults. Jack has been here for 3 years.	Felix "Felix the Cat" Tb 16 hands Age 18 Advanced students only, Felix is a Training Level eventer that knows dressage, super-fast jumper, and Cross County superstar.
